Little Dead Things is a documentary shot on MiniDV during LingYan’s return to China. Preserving a home-video aesthetic, the film looks at the relationship between siblings, their shared passion for art-making, and the filmmaker’s exploration of abandoned spaces in a declining city, capturing the textures of a peculiar moment in time and urban context.
